Child of Light and Valiant Hearts are coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year, Ubisoft has announced.

The Ubisoft Montreal-developed Child of Light is out the door first in October, and was previously released for last and current-generation consoles in 2014. Set in 1895, the game follows a young girl, Aurora, as she battles her way through the fairytale-esque continent of Lemuria.

Meanwhile, the visually-striking Valiant Hearts: The Great War arrives on the Big N's hybrid powerhouse in early November. Crafted by Ubisoft's Montpellier studio, Valiant Hearts weaves an emotionally-gripping tale set during the Great War, where you must survive in the trenches as four characters as they attempt to help a young German soldiers find his love.

Valiant Hearts was originally released in 2014 for multiple formats, and features a strong pedigree of devs who worked on the likes of Beyond Good & Evil and Rayman Origins.

Child of Light will launch on October 11 and Valiant Hearts: The Great War will launch on November 8.
