Apple has added 10p onto the minimum price point for iOS apps, seeing 69p apps upped to 79p.
The increase follows earlier rumours that a hike was imminent across all EU territories and Canada.
This is only the second time Apple has forced developers to up its minimum asking price for apps, having added 10p on to the price back in the summer of 2011.
Google Play’s minimum app price remains 50p.
