The 2006 version will be the only management game on the market with all the updates from the recent January transfer window, and gives players a wide range of new features in order to become the best in the business.
New this year is the Gameplan engine which provides a 3D TV-style view of match events. Also expect a greater level of interactivity between yourself and your players, with more time needing to be spent speaking to individuals who simply aren’t performing on the pitch, or are fed up of sitting on the bench.
Expect to haggle over players if you want to bring them to your club, and if you want to make your reign at the club a little easier on the bank balance, chose to have a cash injection from a wealthy Club Benefactor. You’ll have plenty of cash at your disposal, but with greater spending power comes a greater demand for success, so everything’s not as simple as it seems.
Championship Manager 2006 is scheduled for a March 31 release.
