Celeste's upcoming DLC will not arrive in time for the game's one-year anniversary later this month, creator Matt Thorson confirmed on Twitter.
The good news is that the content will launch free across all platforms, and will be a continuous experience with no B-side. We're also promised fresh items and mechanics, a harder difficult, but no strawberries. Bugger!
Celeste was released to critical acclaim on January 25, 2018 for PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Colm thought it was a right corker, so be sure to pick it up if you haven't done so. The game has sold over 500,000 copies to date.
