CAVE, developer of 48 danmaku (bullet hell) shooters in a period of 16 years, has been recognised by Guinness World Records as “the most prolific developer of danmaku shooters” and is featured in the 2011 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records: Gamer’s Edition.

The studio’s first game was 1995’s DonPachi and has more recently seen Rising Star Games publish Deathsmiles in the UK.
