Konami has announced that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will hit stores in Europe on October 8. The re-imagining of the long-running series tells an epic tale of love, despair and hope, in a time when the dead walk the land.
Gamers play as Gabriel Belmont, voiced by Robert Carlyle, traversing over 50 stages and taking on more than 45 enemies. It’s classic hack ‘n’ slash gameplay, complete with massive bosses with weaknesses to exploit.
If the standard edition isn’t good enough for you, a Collector’s Edition will be available that includes the official soundtrack and a replica God Mask. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 8. The US gets the game a few days earlier on October 5.
