Capcom has confirmed that it will be supporting Wii U, despite being one of the few third-party publishers yet to announce anything for Nintendo’s latest console.

Posting on Capcom’s community website yesterday, the firm’s senior VP Christian Svensson revealed that Capcom has “some good stuff coming” for Wii U.

“I’d love to tell you more…” he continued, “but for now, I have to keep it a surprise. Sorry.”

Capcom currently has multiple titles in development across various studios, including Resident Evil 6, Lost Planet 3, DmC: Devil May Cry and a sequel to Dragon’s Dogma.

Could one of those be headed to Wii U?

Expect to hear something at Gamescom next week.
