Here in Europe we may still be waiting for Capcom Classics Collection Remixed on the PSP, but that hasn’t stopped Capcom from announcing a follow-up retro collection titled Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded. The retro compilation will feature more than 15 arcade favourites, including titles that appeared in Capcom Classics Collection on PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

Reloaded will also feature a number of new titles including Eco Fighters, King of Dragons and Knights of the Round.

Capcom’s classic arcade hits are truly reloaded for the PSP system,” said Todd Thorson, director of marketing Capcom Entertainment. “On top of fan favourites such as Street Fighter II, Ghouls’n Ghosts and Commando we’ve added a new group of titles to the collection, continuing our legacy of providing quality entertainment for all players.

The bumper compilation pack will also include game sharing, allowing you to take part in multiplayer games with only one copy of the game. Unlockable content such as artwork, game history, secret codes and tips can be accessed by using credits earned when playing through the included games.

Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded for the PSP is scheduled for release in North America in the final quarter of 2006. Meanwhile, we can expect Capcom Classics Collection Remixed to arrive in Europe on July 14, 2006.
