We don’t often dip our toe into the behemoth that is Candy Crush Saga here on VideoGamer.com, but that didn’t stop the latest figures from developer King blowing our tiny minds. Therefore we felt like we should share them.
Aside from announcing that it’s been downloaded over half a billion times across Facebook and mobile devices, King also revealed over 150 billion games have been played to date.
We may not understand its appeal – isn’t it just Bejeweled? – but that’s some incredible statistics, no matter what other game or genre you compare it to.
For some perspective, the entire population of China is around 1.35 billion.
