The live test for Valve’s heavily anticipated tactical shooter goes live today, with the game set to launch in Summer 2023. If you head on over to their announcement page, you will see that the test is currently available to a few ‘select CS:GO players’ and that the game will actually be available as a free upgrade to CSGO.

Can you register for the Counter Strike 2 beta?
At the moment – there is no option to register for the Counter Strike 2 Beta, and you can only be selected based on the above mentioned Counter Strike rankings.
If you have been selected for the live test, you’re going to be notified in the main menu of CS:GO, so check up on there to find out if you’re one of the lucky few. From there, you need to click Enroll, and you can download the Counter Strike 2 Limited Test.
If you haven’t been selected, fear not, as they are going to be updating who has been enrolled as it continues.
