The Call of Juarez Facebook page has sprung to life for the first time in years, hinting that something might be in the pipeline from developer Techland.

The studio has posted up a new banner featuring Silas Greaves of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger fame, accompanied by the tagline 'Legends never die.' A second image was also added, showing Greaves looking out over a canyon with the quote, 'I haven't been here in many years. Name's Silas Greaves.'

Nothing official has been revealed by Techland yet, although the fact Greaves is featured so heavily in these images hints we might be getting a remaster or sequel to Gunslinger. It's been five years since that game, so we're surely due another Call of Juarez, right?

Speaking of the Wild West franchise, Microsoft added both Bound in Blood and The Cartel to Xbox One's backwards compatibility lineup last week.
