Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific delays Season Two to February 14

Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific have had Season Two delayed into mid February, it’s been announced.

Fans were informed of the delay via the Call of Duty blog. “We feel your frustrations and hear you loud and clear. To date, we’ve deployed a number of updates, but more needs to be done. For this reason, we have decided to reschedule the start of Season Two across Warzone Pacific and Vanguard to February 14.”

The team say they’ll use this additional time to deliver “optimizations to gameplay” as well as balancing the game, weapons and equipment. Fixing game stability and bugs is also high on the priority list too. That’s on top of “an overall level of polish to improve the experience” for every post-2019 Call of Duty game. That includes Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, Warzone Pacific and Vanguard.

It’s been an interesting week for Call of Duty‘s publisher Activision Blizzard to say the least. On Tuesday, it was announced Microsoft are buying the the company for a colossal $68.7 billion USD. With the acquisition, the Xbox company now gets Call of Duty under its belt, and there’s a good chance the series could be coming to Xbox Game Pass once the deal concludes.

Before then, Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season Two will now arrive on February 14. It’ll drop on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
