Activision Blizzard has revealed what players can expect in Season One of post-launch content for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone.

We’ll mainly be focusing on Vanguard‘s additions here, as there’s already been quite a lot on the new Pacific map in Warzone. There’ll be two new maps in the first drop, including all new map Paradise. Also based in the Pacific, this three lane map features dangerous toxic waste and underground tunnels. The second map is Radar, a remake of classic COD: MW3 map Dome.

Game mode wise, Season One will see the return of Control. Teams alternate between attacking and defending two fixed capture zones on the map. Both teams have limited respawns, so it’s either capture the enemy zones or reduce the attacking team’s stock to zero to win.

As is tradition, there’s a new Battle Pass to go with the season which includes a truckload of new weapons, cosmetics, Operator skins and more. These include the Cooper Carbine, the Sawtooth and the deadly Katana. There’s also two new perks; Serpentine and Intuition and a Special Incendiary Grenade equipment slot to unlock.

Zombies mode meanwhile gets new Objectives, Covenants, Weapons and Challenges. The Purge objective challenges players to capture Control Runes to (*checks notes*) stop aethereal worms feeding on dimensional energy. The whopping 14 new upgrades include Brimstone, Deadshot, Dead Wire and many more. Players are also promised more Zombies updates for after the new year, including a portal to Von List’s Office. There’s also set to be a limited time Festive Fervor event later this month.
