Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 is out. There is lots for players to anticipate over the coming weeks as highlighted in the roadmap. While some aspects have been heavily advertised, some fans have started noticing the addition of persistent lobbies in Modern Warfare 3 with some players upset that it is an option rather than default.

There is a lot to enjoy in the near future if you are a Call of Duty fan. Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 has just launched, and leaks have revealed an exciting new map and mode for the upcoming 420 event. While this new mode looks absolutely fantastic on its own, there will also be the release of the Cheech and Chong bundle that will literally let you turn enemies into joints.

Cheech and Chong as well as the new mode will both come out in a couple of weeks, but right now you can enable persistent lobbies in MW3.

Call of Duty MW3 players notice persistent lobbies option

Call of Duty fans have noticed the addition of enabling persistent lobbies in Modern Warfare 3. This was shared in a screenshot on Reddit by user Alastor_7, and it has also been picked up by CharlieIntel on Twitter.

As demonstrated in the Reddit screenshot, in the bottom right hand corner there is an option stay in the lobby underneath next match. You need to toggle though to stay in the lobby.

Many players are happy to stay in lobbies, but many of the Reddit replies are bemused that it’s not default. One of the replies asks why is it a toggle when ‘If you don’t want to stay just back out,’ and another reply says Activision should ‘just have it enabled by default’.

In the Twitter replies to CharlieIntel, one of the most liked replies says ‘FINALLYYYYY BUT THIS SHOULDN’T BE A FUC**NG OPTION’.

While many would prefer it to be default, there are those who are in favor of a toggle. But, at the end of the day, the persistent lobbies option is good, and just toggling to stay in a lobby is effortless. You simply just need to remember to do it.
