With E3 now close enough to smell, we’re expecting a lot in the way of pre-event teasing and one game which could break from cover ahead of June is Activision’s Modern Warfare 3.
According to actor Craig Fairbrass, voice of Ghost in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, he’s just finished working on a “$200 million” Activision game.
“And I’ve just been out in LA doing something that’s going to be announced in May…” Fairbrass told talkSPORT. “I’ve just been out there doing some bits and pieces and one of it’s to do with… I can’t say too much.”
Putting the parts together we arrive at a pre-E3 reveal for Modern Warfare 3.
We fully expect Modern Warfare 3 – or whatever new COD title Activision has lined-up – to take centre stage at E3, but a pre-event tease to whet appetites is most certainly on the cards.
We might not be waiting very long at all, with Activision set to announce financial results on May 9. Modern Warfare will be on the lips of each and every investor on the call.
