After yesterday’s mammoth leak of information, Infinity Ward has stepped forward and confirmed that this year’s Call of Duty game will be Modern Warfare 3.

“Wasn’t planned, but you’re clearly hyped, so here is the 1st of many Modern Warfare 3 videos coming in hot today!” wrote Infinity Ward mouthpiece Robert Bowling on Twitter.

Four teaser trailers have since been unleashed, with individual trailers set in America, France, Germany, and England: four of the locations you’ll be schlepping to in the game when it (presumably) comes out in November.

It’s all kicking off, too: In New York a marine travels from Manhattan to Brooklyn as Russian submarines bombards the city. British troops attempt to hold off enemy troops in London. An entire city crumbles in Germany. The Eiffel Tower is under attack in France.

Modern Warfare 3 is being developed by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software.
