Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s first consolidated batch of DLC content, imaginatively titled Content Collection 1, has made its way onto PlayStation Network.
It will set you back ten of the Queen’s finest GBP pounds, 15 USA megadollars, or some cosmopolitan Euros.
The pack includes multiplayer maps Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box along with Spec Ops levels Black Ice and Negotiator. I know it’s not ‘cool’ to enjoy playing Call of Duty but we’ve quite liked the maps, if we’re being honest.
The content has also come out in monthly spurts to paying Call of Duty: Elite subscribers, and arrives on PlayStation 3 one month later than Xbox due to an exclusivity deal between Activision and Microsoft.
There is still no word on a PC release for Content Collection 1. “Information on the MW3 Content Collection #1 for the PC will be coming soon,” says a press release.
You can also see Content Collection 1 in lavish HD video form in our Super Extended Play series.
Yesterday, a poster was spotted suggesting that we could see a reveal of this year’s Call of Duty game on May 2.
