Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare begins 2017 just like it ended 2016; at No.1 in the UK video game chart.

ChartTrack reports that Infinite Warfare sales were down 64 per cent compared to last week, but this is typical for this time of year. This is now the eighth week at No.1 for Infinite Warfare, equalling the second highest number of All Formats No.1s for a title in the franchise and only bettered by the 11 weeks achieved by Black Ops 3.

Elsewhere it’s a case of which game managed to cling on to the most sales. Forza Horizon 3 makes the most of cut pricing to see it jump seven places into fifth, whilst new stock for Pokemon Sun sees it return to the Top 10 for the first time since week 49 of 2016.

There’s nothing new in stores this week, so expect very little to change.
