Infinity Ward has released a new title update for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC versions of Call of Duty: Ghosts, implementing a variety of fixes and introducing a brand new game mode ‘Reinforce’.

Available in private matches, Reinforce is described as a competitive round-based game mode that sees killed players stay out of the game until someone on their team captures a control point. Players win the game by capturing and holding two control points, wiping out the enemy team or capturing all three flags.

The patch also improves spawning during games of Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed and Cranked, and rebalances a variety of weapons, including the Bizon, Vepr and CBJMS.

Gun Game players ought to get their throwing eye in order, too, with the final kill now requiring a throwing knife kill.
