Infinity Ward has teased Call of Duty: Ghosts’ ‘Squads’ mode, a new online mode expected to be introduced in this year’s game.

The mode was revealed in a video posted by the game’s executive producer Mark Rubin over the weekend, and appears alongside a menu screen featuring a rotating globe.

The words “Online Play” also appear beneath the title.

Infinity Ward has previously confirmed that Ghosts will include a “cooperative mode of sort”, but has yet to announce any official details.

Could Squads be Ghosts’ equivalent to Spec Ops and Zombies?

Call of Duty: Ghosts’ multiplayer is set to be revealed in a special live show next Wednesday, August 14.
