Activision has announced a second Call of Duty: Ghosts Double XP event, this time to celebrate the next-gen launch of Infinity Ward’s shooter.
The Next-Gen Double XP event will be open to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players from 6pm on Friday, November 29, until 6pm Monday, December 2, and lets players rank up their multiplayer progress twice as fast.
A Double XP event for the current-generation version took place last weekend to mark the game’s current-gen release.
Players looking to upgrade to the next-gen version of Ghosts would do well to consider the available upgrade paths or, if you’re picking an Xbox One or PS4 up from GAME, think about taking your copy with you when you purchase your console.
If you bought your current-gen copy from the retailer, GAME is said to be offering the PS4/Xbox One version for free when trading in your copy while purchasing a new console.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is available to buy now on PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U, with the Xbox One version due to launch this Friday, November 15.
