Call of Duty: Ghosts’ Prestige Edition will cost a whopping £179.99, GAME has revealed, making it the most expensive edition released in the series so far.

The retailer, which has the exclusive rights to the edition in the UK, launched pre-orders for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the Prestige Edition soon after Ghosts’ multiplayer reveal earlier this evening.

The Prestige Edition includes a 1080p HD head-mountable camera, the Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass, a Paracord Strap and a range of digital content, including a player patch, player card, player background, official soundtrack and Free Fall multiplayer map.

It isn’t yet known whether the Prestige Edition will be available on Xbox One or PS4, and if it is, how much it will cost.

The £179.99 price tag is significantly higher than the series’ previous Prestige Editions.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2‘s Prestige Edition, which included a pair of night-vision goggles, retailed for £119.99, with Black Ops’ Prestige Edition coming in at £129.99 and Black Ops 2’s Care Package at £159.99.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Hardened Edition, meanwhile, which contains all of the content included with the Prestige excluding the 1080p camera, costs £89.99.

The first gameplay footage of Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer was revealed earlier this evening. Check out the trailer below for an early look.
