Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught, the first of four planned content packs, will be released on January 28, Activision has announced via Instagram.
A short trailer was accompanied by the message: “Something menacing is coming Jan. 28. Get ready for the #Onslaught.”
The confirmation followed leaked GameStop marketing materials which showed the pack’s contents to include: Fog, Bayview, Containment and Ignition maps, the first episode of the Extinction campaign mode, plus the Maverick AR and Sniper Rifle.
Activision previously announced that Onslaught is one of four planned content packs included in the £34.99 Season Pass – Devastation, Invasion and Nemesis are the other three.
All content will be available first on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
