Call of Duty: Ghosts’ Onslaught DLC is available to download now on Xbox One and will be available later today on Xbox 360.

The DLC is the first of four map packs due to be released for last November’s hit shooter and includes four new multiplayer maps, a bonus weapon and an additional Extinction episode.

  • Fog: A small to medium sized map set alongside the banks of a murky lake, and acts as a “chilling homage” classic horror films. Once a player completes a specific Field Order, they’ll be able to play as Michael Myers.
  • BayView: A close-quarters map set on a coastal Californian boardwalk packed with seaside gift stores and an aquarium, offering players fast-paced run-and-gun matches. Players must also be wary of the deadly artillery strike enemies can call-in from a Naval Destroyer anchored just offshore.
  • Containment: A compact map set in a war-torn Mexican village, where the battle rages along both banks of the dried out riverbed.
  • Ignition: An aging Florida space launch facility inspired by Modern Warfare 2‘s Scrapyard.

Extinction’s new episode, meanwhile, takes players to an Alaskan research facility, where players must survive a new attack from the alien threat.

And finally, the brand new Maverick acts as a dual-purpose assault rifle/sniper rifle, letting players alter their playstyle without switching their weapon.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught costs £11.59 and is available at no additional cost to Season Pass holders. The DLC is expected to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC at a later date.
