Call of Duty: Ghosts looks set to be revealed in just a few days time, after a marketing update sent to GameStop stores (via IGN) appeared to confirm a May 1 reveal.

The leak appears to show a photo of a marketing plan for a new “Call of Duty Title”, and asks employees not to display the POS until May 1.

The date aligns with previous rumours suggesting that Ghosts is set for a reveal later this week.

Back in March, YouTube user Drift0r claimed to have been told information about Call of Duty: Ghosts, stating that an announcement was expected around May 1.

Infinity Ward community manager Tina Palacios also added fuel to the rumours that a reveal of Call of Duty: Ghosts was due imminently when she tweeted “Soon”.

Call of Duty: Ghosts was first leaked by Tesco last week, when it listed the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game along with its box art.

The retailer made a further blunder yesterday when it posted additional information about the unannounced title, revealing that Ghosts will feature a “new next-generation Call of Duty engine” and launch on November 4.

The game could also be headed to Wii U and PC, too, a report on MyNintendoNews suggests, after Spanish retailer XtraLife allegedly listed the game for release on the two formats.
