Activision has revealed the Call of Duty: Gift Pack, a Tesco-exclusive set due to go on sale at the retailer later this year.
The Gift Pack includes a collection of Ghosts-branded merchandise, including ‘Touch Screen Gloves’, dog tags, a mug and a ‘Slouch Beanie’.
“We’re continuing to explore new opportunities and broaden our presence in our existing retail base,” said UK sales director Angela Dickson speaking in the latest issue of MCV.
“This year, we will also have a greater range of licensed merchandise, which will increase in-store awareness. For example, with Tesco, we have an exclusive gifting pack, which will be available across a large number of stores. We see this is an excellent opportunity to extend brand presence, and is a great way to encourage gifting purchase.”
A price for the pack has not been announced.
While I have no idea what a ‘slouch beanie’ is, I guess it makes a change from the usual Lynx stocking fillers.
