Roads to Victory is the first game from the Call of Duty franchise for the PSP, and Activision is promising an all-new handheld experience for PSP gamers. Players are thrust into the role of a soldier in the 82nd Airborne Division, a Canadian First Army rifleman and an elite British Parachuting Regiment commando.

The game has been created from the ground up for the PSP and the game’s story spans 13 intense battles through the eyes of the three Allied soldiers. As an FPS on the PSP, there are obviously going to be some concerns over controls, but the game will feature four “honed” control schemes, so there should be something to suit every gamer.

Players will also be able to continue the battle in a variety of multiplayer modes, supporting up to six players. Take on friends and enemies in Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and King of the Hill modes.

Call of Duty: Roads to Victory for the PSP is pencilled in for release in spring 2007.
