Activision has announced that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Apocalypse – the final map pack scheduled for the game – will be released on 27 August for Xbox Live.
Featuring four new maps – Pod, Frost, Takeoff and Dig (the last two being updated versions of ‘Stadium’ from Black Ops: First Strike and ‘Courtyard’ from World At War respectively) – it also introduces Origins, a brand new Zombies mode.
Set in World War I-era France, Activision claims it’ll be “the most horrifying and imaginative Zombies experience to date”, complete with reintroducing the original heroes from the very first Zombies map: Tank, Nikola, Takeo and Rictofen.
Along with supernatural weapons, a diesel-drone and Mark IV tank, a new perk machine and power-ups, you can also expect to encounter a “1000 foot tall robot”. Right…
Apocalypse will release on other platforms, as per usual, a few weeks later.
