Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sold more copies on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the UK last week than either PS4 or Xbox One, according to figures revealed by GFK Chart-Track.
46 per cent of last week’s Advanced Warfare sales were on Xbox 360, with 22 per cent on PS3. Meanwhile, 19 per cent were sold on Xbox One and 14 per cent on PS4.
Chart-Track adds that sales of Advanced Warfare were “the largest ever for any title in a Black Friday week”.
The high volume of last-gen sales were largely due to the discounts on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, which were slashed to £24.99 for the Black Friday weekend. The PS4 and Xbox One versions were not discounted.
FIFA 15 also benefited from Black Friday discounts with sales rising 84 per cent week-on-week.
