Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that Buzz! Quiz TV is to be released for the PlayStation 3 in March 2008. The quiz franchise is to be transformed thanks to the PSN, with players able to compete against quiz experts from the world over.
Buzz! Quiz TV will release at retail in March 2008 and is to feature 5000 questions divided into five channels: Music, Movies and TV, Sports, Knowledge and Lifestyle.
The questions won’t stop with what’s included on the Blu-ray disc though; a huge variety of constantly updated content is promised via the PlayStation Store on the PSN.
Online play will enable up to four quiz teams to compete and in the future there are plans to introduce leagues and tournaments.
Also new to the PS3 version of Buzz is user created questions via the all-new MyBuzz community site which links directly to the game. These questions can be made exclusively for you and your friends or can be shared with the whole community.
Buzz!: Quiz TV is scheduled to launch in March 2008.
