No reasons for the sudden name change have been given, but one only has to look at the uproar surrounding the game to get an idea as to why a less headline grabbing title has been chosen.
According to Rockstar, the name change will not have an impact on the game’s release date, a spokesperson informing Eurogamer that, “The game is set for release in October.“
