Variety reports that Bruce Willis is in negotiations to star in Lionsgate’s movie adaptation of Eidos’ Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, which to date has sold two million copies worldwide.
Willis will play the role of Adam “Kane” Marcus, a merc who forms an alliance with schizophrenic murderer James Lynch. The role of Lynch isn’t currently cast, although the filmmakers are now actively seeking an actor to fill the part.
Simon Crane will make his feature film directorial debut, having previously worked as second unit director and stunt coordinator on pictures including Troy and X-Men: The Last Stand.
Shooting for the movie is expected to start towards the end of the year.
