A new GTA V mod for PC has unlocked the entirety of Los Santos to be used as your own personal golf course. The new “Golf Anywhere” mod for Rockstar’s open world game detaches the game’s fun and relaxing mini game from specific games and lets you golf in the most unhinged places you can think of.
Golf Anywhere in GTA V
Published on the GTA 5 mods website, the Golf Anywhere mod allows you to bring the game’s upper-class sport minigame to the entirety of Los Santos. With the mod installed, you can now start a round of golf at Michael DeSantos’ house, on the runway of the airport or even in the middle of a busy highway.
When you’ve found a lovely, or even not-so-lovely, place to set up a swing, you’ll be able to select your type of club, the force of your swings, the placement of the flagged hole and more. This lets you turn any location into a golf course, setting up intense trickshots through hectic areas, bouncing balls off buildings and more.
The mod also adds in new controls set to the numpad on your keyboard, allowing your GTA V character to quickly spawn new balls, teleport to the current ball and even switch to the game’s “ball cam”. While this isn’t included in the Golf Anywhere mod, the mod’s release could also lead to the creation of custom GTA V golf courses.
How to install the mod
Of course, the GTA V Golf Anywhere mod is only available on PC as Rockstar has never introduced mods on console. However, after downloading the mod on PC, it’s an easy installation process.
After also installing the ScripthookVDotNet AsiLoader tool, you’ll simply have to add the mod’s files into your scripts folder. After that, the mod should work in bpth first and third person. Then it’s time to Golf Anywhere!
