Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training: Can you stay focused? Will be released across Europe for Nintendo 3DS on April 12, Nintendo has announced.

Developed in cooperation with neuroscientist Dr Ryuta Kawashima, the idea behind Devilish Brain Training is to train your grey matter by completing a series of challenging exercises with an emphasis on concentration skills and focus to train your working memory.

The game offers 30 exercises and mini-games, including 18 which are brand new, with the core exercises adapting to create bespoke training programmes for all abilities.

An example game is Devilish Calculations, which challenges you to recall the answer to a previous mathematical problem while paying attention to the next one in line.

Then there’s Devilish Mice which challenges you to simultaneously track the path of several mice while they are being chased by cats.

If you find one of the exercises too tricky and perform poorly then it will dynamically adjust the difficulty based on your real-time results.

Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training: Can you stay focused? Will be released at retail and via the Nintendo eShop.
