Yesterday, the Borderlands Twitter account released a new trailer for the swampy planet Eden-6, one of the new worlds that players will sojourn on their journey through the upcoming Borderlands 3.
Despite its name, Eden-6 looks anything but utopian. Marshy and murky, yet the Jakobs family have built a home here off of the killing they make as a highly successful weapons manufacturer. Rooming with the munitions heir Wainwright Jakobs are Sir Hammerlock and Lady Aurelia Hammerlock from Borderlands 2, but they aren’t alone. Like Promethea, a conflict is tearing the planet apart, and that means lots of lovely loot for any poor but fortunate soul caught in the middle.
A backwater swampland of a planet and family home of the Jakobs clan, Eden-6 is covered by lush greenery, stagnant waters, and vicious indigenous dangers. #LetsMakeSomeMayhem

The Children of the Vault are viciously assailing the planet in an act of conquest for the antagonistic Calypso Twins. What they want is still unknown, but I bet it’s bad news. Players will also fend off clans of surly Jabbers, who wield leaden hammers and throw their excrement. Nice. Even nicer are the Saurians, dinosaur-like creatures that have never heard of ‘less is more’ when it comes to their jaws and fangs.
How you choose to dispatch these threats is down to you, and Borderlands 3 offers quite the range of strategies. Take a look at the trailers released so far for Vault Hunters Zane the Operative, Moze the Gunner, Amara the Siren to see who is your perfect partner in crime(s).
Borderlands 3 will launch on September 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
