Borderlands 2’s next piece of downloadable content will be called Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt.
The FPS-RPG’s third DLC was originally outed by a number of new trophies added to the PS3 version of the game after yesterday’s patch, and later confirmed by a Gearbox spokesperson.
Little is known about the DLC besides the name and a few details revealed by the trophies’ descriptions.
A new area called ‘Hammerlock’s Hunt’ appears to be included with the DLC, along with a selection of hunting side-missions.
A release date for the DLC has yet to be confirmed.
One more DLC pack is expected to be released as part of the Borderlands 2’s season pass following the launch of Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt. The most recent, Mr Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, was also exposed through a PS3 trophy update.
