2K Games has announced a release date for Borderlands 2’s third piece of DLC, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt.
The DLC, which takes place after the end of the main game, is due to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on January 15, 2013, adding more quests, loot, and areas to explore.
IGN reports that Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt is built primarily around the idea of “tracking down and killing” new and existing enemies, including “long-legged insectile behemoths” and spell-casting Shamans.
It’ll cost 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, and £7.99 on PSN & PC. It’s also available as part of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass.
