Blizzard Entertainment has filed an application with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) for “Cute But Deadly.”
As with these applications, the filing includes a range of possible uses, from t-shirts to action figures, but there’s no mention of video games.
Blizzard hasn’t commented on the application.
Next up for Blizzard is the PS3 and Xbox 360 release of Diablo 3 on September 3.
Perhaps Blizzard is protecting an upcoming advertising slogan, or a new range of toys relating to its franchises.
