Senior level designer on Blizzard’s upcoming MMO Titan, John Staats, has reportedly been laid off.
Insider information given to Massively has sparked rumours that Staats has left after over a decade with the company.
His work with Blizzard has included level design on all the raid dungeons, Blackrock Mountain, and Booty Bay.
Staat’s LinkedIn profile still lists him as senior level designer with the company, however.
While Project Titan has still yet to be officially unveiled, Chris Metzen has already stated that fan expectation for it “is a bitch“.
The MMO industry has been hit hard the last few months, with many studios closing down and staff laid off. Apparently even Blizzard isn’t untouchable, if the rumours are true.
