The Worgen race will be getting horse mounts in the upcoming 4.3 patch for WoW.
Blizzard’s Greg Street explained why it was decided to finally give them traditional mounts, stating in an interview with TenTonHammer:
“We did that largely to help a problem where players would faction transfer and lose the number of mounts they had. We really are trying to sell it as finally here’s the long-awaited Worgen mount but Running Wild, the racial which has them on all fours, is intended to be the Worgen mount but this is really to give both factions similar numbers of mounts because players are really sensitive to that when it comes to Achievements and faction transfers.”
Patch 4.3 is set to be the final patch before the next expansion for World of Warcraft.
Mists of Pandaria is the rumoured expansion for World of Warcraft. Initially a registered trademark for Pandaria was spotted, referring to the Pandaren – a race of martial arts masters that began as an April Fool’s joke in Warcraft 3.
