The Italian-language version of World of Warcraft is currently in the works, according to a recent statement by Blizzard.
Existing European users who have been clamouring for an Italian Azeroth can look forward to downloading a free language pack later in the year, while new users will be able to purchase the Italian version digitally or in retail.
This is the MMO’s eleventh supported language and seventh supported European language, along with English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese.
The game recently lost another 100,000 users, dropping its subscription numbers to 10.3 million. However, additional language options could help to curtail this ever so slightly.
