In a recent Q&A where fans got to ask questions about Black & White 2 it was revealed that a modding tool is on the cards for release some time after the game hits stores.
Replying to a question about the possibilities of creating your own maps Lionhead said:
“Currently we aren’t planning to release the world editor at the same time we are releasing the game. But we are considering releasing this in the future; this could be done with a patch, updates or even an add-on pack. We’d love to release modding tools to allow people to create their own maps, as that would add a lot of gameplay to it!“
The possibility of building your own maps is sure to increase fans’ anticipation of Black & White 2. We hope to bring you more on this when further details emerge.
