BioWare has announced its plans to beef up security for its upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Users whose accounts were made prior to October 21 will be required to change their passwords in order to conform with the new security measures set in place.

Passwords must now be between eight and fifteen characters long, containing at least one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter, and one number.

Star Wars: The Old Republic will launch December 20 in North America and Europe.
