BioWare is looking into what elements of Mass Effect Andromeda need patching – including facial animations and the character creator – but is currently unable to make any promises on what exactly will be fixed, lead designer Ian Frazier has said on Twitter.

Regarding the facial animations, Frazier said: “We’re looking at patching lots of issues and want to strongly support the game moving forward. I can’t say more just yet.”

In relation to the lack of options in the character creator, he wrote: “Can’t promise anything yet, but we’re currently evaluating various options for making it better.”

He also responded directly to a request for stubble.

“No promises, but I’ve got it on the list of things we’re looking at potentially fixing/adding for character creation,” he wrote.

Mass Effect Andromeda launched in early access last week, and launches in Europe for PS4, Xbox One and PC tomorrow.
