BioShock, seen as the spiritual successor to System Shock, shot to prominence at E3 2006, taking home many Game of the Show awards. At the turn of the year 2K Games confirmed that the game’s global release was set for June 2007, but it hasn’t taken long for this date to change.
Over on 2K Games’ BioShock website it’s been announced that the game will now be released on August 21. At this time it’s unclear if the date is global or just for North America.
