During a conference call following the company’s third quarter financials, Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick revealed plans extend 2K Boston/2K Australia’s BioShock into a franchise.

Earlier it had been announced that the critically acclaimed PC and Xbox 360 title has shipped 1.5 million units worldwide, although actual sell-through figures were not announced. Zelnick did, however, state that the game is “one of the fastest selling games in video game history.
