Take-Two’s been keeping pretty quiet on BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams, but it appears as though things are now rolling. A new teaser site, There’s Something In The Sea, has launched and there have been sightings of viral marketing posters.

The new website doesn’t feature much in the way of content at the moment, but does include a photo of a Big Daddy doll, a newspaper clipping which details the kidnapping of 7-year-old Maura Clune, and a hand-written letter speculating on the kidnapping. All these documents are pinned to a map with the date “2/20/67”.

A Kotaku reader has also sent in a photo of a “There’s Something In The Sea” poster which teases a mysterious red light.

BioShock 2 is scheduled for release before November 2009.
