2K has cleared up confusion over the official title of its highly anticipated BioShock sequel. When first announced the game went by the title, BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams, but a recent Game Informer preview made no reference to the extended title.
Speaking to Primotech, a 2K rep said: “You won’t be seeing ‘Sea of Dreams’ moving forward, just ‘BioShock 2.'”
There’s also been a small update over on 2K’s Cult of Rapture website, putting to rest a few rumours that have been flying around.
“I will let you know that there won’t be any spliced-up rhinos, Soviet invasions, or co-op, but you may very well see a Big Daddy or two,” explained the website update. “The game will feature quite a bit else, however.”
BioShock 2 is scheduled for release on unannounced platforms before November 2009.
