D3Publisher has today announced the 2009 release of Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers for Wii. The game stars bikini-clad samurai sisters Aya and Saki who must slash-up zombies.

Players will have to master the sword by utilising Wii Remote motion controls, slashing, swinging and thrusting into the grotesque zombie hordes. Players will have the choice to play as either sister in single-player or with a friend in co-op mode.

There’s blood aplenty is Onechanbara and get too much on either sister and they’ll be driven into a Rage mode, gaining increased strength and agility with which to destroy the zombies.

“Onechanbara perfectly blends the thrill and excitement of a zombie-filled horror flick with a pair of sisters that pack a powerful sword behind impeccable beauty,” said Yoji Takenaka, executive vice president and chief operating officer, North America and Europe, D3P. “Gamers will be delighted that a lot of features have been included to make a fun and easy to pick-up and play title at a great price.”

Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers is scheduled for release on Wii across Europe early in 2009.
