ZeniMax Media, parent company of id Software, has announced it has picked up the publishing rights for Rage, the latest video game in development at id Software.

Rage will be published by Bethesda Softworks. EA will not be involved in the sales and marketing of Rage.

EA and id Software announced their partnership back in July 2008. It was in June this year that ZeniMax announced it had completed the acquisition of id Software.

Rage, in development for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, is currently without a confirmed release date. Development of the title is said to have been unaffected by the change of publisher.
